Epping Ongar Railway Spring Diesel Gala - 28th & 29th April 2018
The plans are for D8001 to be back up and running for the Epping Ongar Railway Spring Gala. One to put in diary as it should be a superb weekend, the gala should see a return to traffic for 47635 along with the other resident locos 31438, 37029, 03119 and 03170. There is the possibility of possible guest Loco's to be announced, but other attractions are already planned including including real ale, heritage buses, the opportunity of cab rides and driver experiences.

London Transport Class 20 Heritage Special - 29th April 2018 - Sold Out
The Tour organised by London Transport on Sunday 29th April 2018 has now sold out. To be hauled by 20227 & 20142 both in London Transport Red and Class 33012, from Wembley Park will include mainline running in the Chiltern's, to The Buckingham Railway Centre at Quainton Road .
Purbeck Explorer Railtour - 13th May 2018
A chance to travel back from the Swanage Railway gala behind 20007 & 20142 hauling on a TC set, the train will travel travel from London to Swanage on Thursday 10th May behind Class 33 D6515 returning with the 20's on the Sunday. For booking details see the following link.
Midland Railway Trust Diesel Gala - 16th & 17th June 2018
There are plans for a number of special events at the Summer Diesel Gala at the Midland Railway, Butterley, including visiting DB Cargo Loco 60100 working trains both days. There is bound to be some Class 20 operations over the weekend. More details on the MRT website below -
North Norfolk Railway Diesel Gala - 15th to 17th June 2018
There will be a chance to travel behind 20227 at the North Norfolk railway Summer gala, full details are to be confirmed at present, but it should be a busy weekend.
Indietracks 2018 - 27th to 29th July 2018
This years Indietracks Festival will be taking place for the twelfth year at the Midland Railway, Butterley from the 27th to 29th July 2018. The line up of Bands includes British Sea Power, Girl Ray, The Lovely Eggs and Darren Hayman and plenty more. Plus DJ's and special events over the weekend. Watch this space.
